摘要
According to the demand for the production of chiral compounds with high purity, various methods have been employed for this goal. Among them, asymmetric catalysis is one of the most important and valuable processes for generating pure chiral compounds, both economically and environmentally. Chiral metal–organic frameworks (CMOFs) because of their abilities are a significant factor in asymmetric catalysis. In this chapter, the synthesis methods of CMOFs (spontaneous resolution, direct and indirect strategies), the history of CMOF-based catalysts, and their design are discussed. Then, examples of enantioselective catalysis using CMOF-based catalysts have been presented, with two distinct classifications: Chiral MOFs in (i) simple and (ii) complex asymmetric reactions. Herein, it has been tried to discuss the catalytic activity of CMOFs with diverse structural properties in heterogeneous asymmetric catalysis, through several chemical transformations.
