Our Thoughts on the Current Situation of the Soil and Water Loss in the Loess Plateau

Soil and water loss in the Loess Plateau is the combined effect of ecological and environmental fragility and the illogical human activities.The soil and water conservation is the basis of ecological restoration and reconstruction in the Loess Plateau.The article analyzes the basic situation and factors of the soil and water loss in the Loess Plateau,putting forward some proposals including advocating the water-saving soil and water conservation,encouraging development of agro-forestry,taking precautions of the soil and water loss in the large infrastructure project construction.
