Study on University Courses Arrangement based on Constraint Satisfaction

The purpose of the study on university courses arrangement is to obtain a reasonable time table efficiently.An optimization model based on constraint satisfaction is presented.Minimum residual heuristic search and forward check were introduced into the modified backtracking algorithm.Practice shows that the courses arrangement system works well.
