The PGPR bacterial fertilizer was made in laboratory and its effect on the height of 3 gramineous forage crops in seedling stage in alpine region was carried out with field experiment and the result indicated that the plant heights of three gramineous forage crops treated by PGPR bacterial fertilizer were significantly higher than control(P0.05).The difference of plant height of 3 forage crops between treatment HH(half amount of chemical fertilizer + half amount of PGPR fertilizer) and C(chemical fertilizer only) were was not significant,this suggests that the PGPR bacterial fertilizer could partly replace chemical fertilizer.For Avena sativa and Elymus nutans,the half amount of chemical fertilizer could be repaced by the PGPR bacterial fertilizer.The effect of PGPR bacterial fertilizer applied as solid form was better than that as liquid form.
