When optimizing the dosage of flocculant by beaker-stirring experiment,its process is very numerous and time-consuming.So the optimization method of flocculant dosage by Zeta potential of the particles in sewage is established in this paper.For the sewage from one company of Daqing oilfield,the dosage of flocculant was optimized by measuring the relationship of Zeta potential and treatment effect of the sewage added flocculant at different concentration.It shows that both inorganic flocculant(polymeric aluminum chloride) and cationic organic macromolecule flocculant can cause Zeta potential shift toward positive value.Combining the two kinds of flocculants can decrease the total dosage of flocculants and improve flocculation effect.The closer to 0 Zeta potential is,the better the treatment effect will be.
