Identification of eucalyptol and borneol in Heidouliuyou Ointment by TLC

Objective To establish a qualitative method of eucalyptol and borneol in Heidouliuyou Ointment for the quickly and best quality control.Methods TLC method was used to identify eucalyptol and borneol in prescription in the same condition at the same time.Results The qualitative method of eucalyptol and borneol in prescription has good specificity with clear spots and good separation.The negative samples had no interference.Conclusion This method is quickly and easily with a strong specificity,high sensitivity and fine conclusion.It can be used in qualitative analysis accurately for the quality control of Heidouliuyou Ointment.
