C.I.disperse red 73,C.I.disperse yellow 211 and C.I.disperse blue 183,which are generally used in the dyeing factories, were chosen to be microencapsulated and performed for dyeing in the absence of auxiliaries. The ratios of the core and wall were changed in order to control the release rate of the disperse dyestuff during the course of microencapsulation.Meanwhile, the related dyeing properties of the microencapsulated disperse dyes were studied respectively, such as the dyeing curves, the first-dyeing rates, the dyeing leveling and the build up.Based on above results, the relationship between the dyeing properties and the ratios of the core and wall could be found out,and the optimum combinations of the microencapsulated disperse dyes, which were used for color combination dyeing in the absence of auxiliaries, were also found out.
