A clinical investigation on x-ray guided three-dimensional diffuse optical imaging of osteoarthritis in the finger joints

X-ray guided diffuse optical imaging is used to investigate the typical and quantitative optical findings that can be used to characterize osteoarthritis in the finger joints. The optical reconstruction results showed that the optical properties between OA and healthy joints are clearly different, suggesting that these functional imaging parameters are possible to diagnose OA and monitor its progression.
