This paper investigates the H∞ anti-disturbance switching control (ADSC) issue for switched affine systems (SASs) with both unmodeled and modeled disturbances. First, a switching disturbance observer is formulated to track and estimate the modeled disturbance. Then, on the basis of the disturbance observer, the H∞ anti-disturbance switching controller and switching rule relevant to the state and affine terms (ATs) are built. Further, the sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the solvability of the H∞ ADSC issue for the SASs. Under such conditions, subsystems may not admit the H∞ ADSC performance. Finally, the simulation of a turbofan engine example is conducted to verify the rationality and effectiveness of the H∞ ADSC strategy.
