Description The papers in the Symposium on Impact Testing of Metals were given at the Seventy-second Annual Meeting of the American Society for Testing and Mater als held in Atlantic City, N. J., 22-27 June 1969. The sponsors of this symposium were Committee E01 on Methods of Testing, Subcommittee 7 on Impact Testing, and Committee E24 on Fracture Testing of Metals. D. E. Driscoll, Army Materials and Mechanics Research Center, presided as symposium chairman.
