Research on the fatigue behaviors of a new orthotropic steel bridge deck

In order to reduce the cumulative fatigue damage of traditional orthotropic steel bridge decks and improve its fatigue performance,a new concept of orthotropic steel bridge deck was proposed by Academician Manchung Tang. In this article,this new orthotropic steel bridge deck was regarded as the research object,by using the finite-element software,the results proved that its fatigue behavior was better than that of the traditional ones.
