The impact of whole-molecule disorder on spin-crossover in a family of isomorphous molecular crystals

Seven [Fe(L R ) 2 ] 2+ (L R = 2-{pyrazolyl}-6-{4-R-pyrazolyl}pyridine) salts are isomorphous, with substituents disordered around the complex, but show a variety of thermal spin-transition behaviors.
