Erratum: Microfibre–nanowire hybrid structure for energy scavenging

Nature 451, 809–813 (2008) It has been drawn to our attention that an error was made in calculating the output power of our fibre nanogenerator. The correct output power density of the fabric is expected to be 4–16 mW per square metre rather than 20–80 mW per square metre as originally claimed. Thiscorrection does not affect the main conclusions of our paper.
