THE EXPERIENCE OF EXTRACTING RESIDUAL BILIARY STONES WITH FIBROCHOLEDOCHOSCOPY IN 370 CASES.

Objective To raise the extirpating rate of gallstones with fibrocholedochoscopy,then to raise the healing rate of gallstones.Methods The experience of extracting gallstones with fibrocholedochoscopy in 370 cases in our hospital from December 1991 to December 2001 was reviewed.Six manipulating skills:netting,pulling,washing,dilating,biting and pushing were summarized.Result Residual gallstones in 370 cases after operation of biliary tract were extracted 537 times.The rate of completely extracting gallstones was 89.3%.The rate of almost extracting gallstones was 8.4%.The failing rate was 2.1%.Conclusion Correct and skilled manipulation with fibrocholedochoscopy can avoid unnecessary injuries in the course of extracting gallstones.shorten the operating period,reduce the remain of gallstones and extract those gallstones in special positions.
