Because estrone elicits strong estrogenic disrupting action,its potential risk has become one of important environmental issues.In this study,the experimental results acquired by analyzing estrone and its products of aqueous chlorination using SPE LC/ESI MS method indicate that estrone is apt to react with HClO,and the four by products including monochloro estrone and dichloro estrone were identified.Besides,the estrogenic activity of aqueous chlorination solution of estrone at 10,30,180 and 420min were detected by using yeast two hybrid system,and the results show that the by products of estrone chlorination also elicit estrogenic activities.
