摘要
Needle tip visualisation is a key skill required for the safe practice of ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia (UGRA), but teaching this whilst ensuring patient safety remains a challenge. A recent review article discussing future contemporary training methods in UGRA highlighted augmented reality as a key future avenue, and the Royal College of Anaesthetists UK has recently suggested the use of simulation and part task trainers for learning in its most recent 2021 curriculum.1 2
