Studies on Soil Urease Activity of Major Forest Types in Badaling of Beijing

The results of the study on soil urease activity and physical chemical properties of nine forest types in Beijing badaling show that soil urease activities are high in the upper soil layer and low in the lower soil layer;the soil urease activities vary in different forest types.And soil urease activities are affected by many components,the principle component are O.M,total N and Alkalihydrolyzable N.The first principal component result reflects storing and supplying soil fertility informations,total variance is 44.86 percent.So,soil urease activity is one of the main bioactivity indexes of forest soil fertility level.
