Synthesis and Properties of Silicone Modified Epoxy Resin

Silicone was synthesized by several alkoxysilanes.Silicone modified epoxy resin was prepared by condensation polymersation of silicone and epoxy resin.The configurations and coating qualities of the modified epoxy resin were investigated.The results indicate that silicone modified epoxy resin has excellent performances because of their combined advantages and novel properties, and the compact coating was obtained with good adhesion,hardness and toughness.
