CURATIVE EFFECTS OF ~(90)SR-~(90)Y ON INFANTILE HEMANGIOMA

Objective: To observe the security and effectiveness for treating infantile hemangioma with 90Sr-90 Y. Methods: 520 cases infantile hemangioma were all treated with radionuclide 90Sr-90 Y. Results: The total curative effective rate of 520 cases infantile hemangioma was 99.4%(517/520). The total curative effective rate of pure strawberry hemangioma was 100%(438/438), which was obviously higher than cavernous hemangioma(71.4%) and mixed hemangioma(97.3%, P0.05). Conclusions: Treating infantile hemangioma with 90Sr-90 Y is safe and effective, and is worthy of application in clinic.
