Influence of Banxiaxiexin Decoction and compatibilities of its analogous decoctions on principles of gastric juice in rats

Objective To develop a reference method of experimental design for the study of the compatibilities of different analogous decoctions. Method Banxiaxiexin Decoction and its analogous decoctions were made up and changed by the homogeneous design. Then the pharmacological data were given an analysis of progressive regression with the analysis of gastric juice as the pharmacological indexes. Result The drugs in Banxiaxiexin Decoction and Gancaoxiexin Decoction had similar effects on gastric principles and similar change trends, but they were different in degrees. There was some discrepancy between Shengjiangxiexin Decoction and above two decoctions and there were interactions among the different drugs in these decoctions. Conclution The method of experimental design is worth a reference to the study of the compatibilities of different analogous decoctions.
