On application of CO_2 gas shield welding in field welding of super-high structure

According to the welding comparison tests of CO2 gas shield welding and shielded metal arc welding with the same conditions,the paper compares the welding craft tests,and has the comprehensive analysis of factors which influence the advantages and disadvantages of CO2 gas shield welding on the field construction,and points out it is valuable to extend the application of CO2 gas shield welding on open-air super-high structure welding.
