摘要
Biological neural systems show enhanced functionality due to the biological synapses. To harness such efficiency, one needs to produce artificial synapses (ASs) with an electronic device that can imitate the natural neural system. Recent progress in two-dimensional materials has enabled researchers to use them for various energy-storage applications. In order to emulate the human brain and produce artificial synapses in synaptic devices, MXene materials have been studied widely in neuromorphic computing. The present chapter briefs about the process and evolution of ASs devices. It throws light on various advancements in the ASs devices by using 2D materials like MXene with features like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
