Iron-catalyzed continuous-flow synthesis of sulfoxide with hydrogen peroxide

Continuous-flow synthesis of sulfoxides was achieved by oxidation of sulfides with H 2 O 2 using a catalyst derived from FeCl 3 and activated carbon. We also showed that sulfoxide selectivity could be improved by properly elevating the flow rate.
