Study of the Green Technology of Tetrabromobisphenol A

Tetrabromobisphenol A was prepered by reaction of bisphenol A with Br\-2 and H\-2O\-2 in the presence of H\-2O and inactive solvent.The influences of the ratio of reactants and the reaction time were studied and the technological conditions were optimized by orthogonal experiments.When the molar ratio of Br\-2 to bisphenol A was 2.20,reaction temperature was 15-25 ℃,molar ratio of H\-2O\-2 to Br\-2 was 1.10,and 3 mL of water was added per gram of bisphenol A,yield of the product was 99% and use ratio of Br\-2 was 99%.
