The using and the prospects of polymer modified mortar at home and abroad are introduced. And the classification and the properties of the polymer modified mortar and the current status of domestic and international polymer modified mortars are also introduced in the paper. The function mechanism and applications of polymer modified mortar are discussed. The problems of polymer modified mortar are pointed out and some prospects to the using of polymer modified mortar in the future are given.
