I read the updated interstitial pneumonias classification position statement [1] with great interest. This initiative is commendable as it helps prevent terminology stagnation and promotes the development of new studies, specifically in light of the current gap in validated clinical–imaging–histopathological bronchioloncentric interstitial pneumonia (BIP) concordance research.
