摘要
With the continuous development of electronic information and digitalization, various display devices have become an important medium for obtaining information. This paper makes a detailed comparative analysis of three popular digital display technologies: Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) and Micro Light-Emitting Diode (MicroLED). Each technology is compared in terms of its structure, operating principles, manufacturing processes, contrast ratio, and viewing angles to analyse and compare the unique advantages and limitations of each technology. LCDS are known for their cost-effectiveness and widespread use in in-vehicle displays and personal electronic devices, despite limited contrast and viewing angles. OLED offer superior contrast ratio and flexibility, making them suitable for high-end mobile devices, although they face challenges such as screen aging and limited life. Although currently hampered by high manufacturing costs, microLED feature high brightness, excellent contrast, and wide viewing angles, positioning them as a promising technology for future high-performance displays. This comprehensive assessment provides valuable opinion into the applicability of each display technology in various sectors and analyses the current market share to guide future advancements and technology choices.
