Preparation of sandwich-structured V6O13via direct current magnetron sputtering for high-capacity zinc-ion batteries

In this study, sandwich-structured vanadium oxide (V 6 O 13 ) was prepared and employed as the cathode for zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs). It achieved a specific capacity of 550 mA h g −1 at 100 mA g −1 , with a coulombic efficiency maintained at 100%.
