Phototuning structural color and optical switching cholesteric textures in azobenzene-doped cholesteric liquid crystals

The first integration of structure modulation and phase modulation of CLCs has been accomplished. CLCs doped with azobenzene show rapid color shifts and phase modulation dependent on different intensity light source stimuli within a few seconds.
