Gas Chromatographic Quantitative Analysis of an Amine Hydrochloride by Regeneration of the Amine

A gas chromatographic quantitation of an amine hydrochloride by regeneration of the amine in solution is described. Solutions of an amine hydrochloride and the corresponding amine were analyzed using an internal standard method and found to yield satisfactory results.
