Progress of Runt-related transcription factor 3 in the research of T-helper cell and diseases

Runt-related transcription factor 3 (Runx3) is a member of the Runx family of transcription factors.As a key component of T-cell-receptor signaling,Runx3 contribute a lot in T cells'development and differentiation.Many experiments have been done to prove that Runx3 plays an impotant role in tumors and asthma.To understand the molecular biological characteristics of Runx3 and its role in immue regulation is important,because it provides the possibility to use Runx3 as a target for therapeutic purposes.This article reviews the molecular biological characteristics feature of Runx3,its role in T-helper cells' function and association with tumors and asthma.
