S-band frequency is often used for satellite TTC, data downlinks, and other two-way communication. Today, the frequency used on the Parepare Remote Sensing Ground Station is the X-Band frequency. By seeing its trend, the S- Band frequency is likely to be used at a remote sensing ground station. Because of that, the measurement of RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) is made. Besides being used as a satellite TTC, the S-Band frequency is also used as a cellular network frequency, especially 3G networks and commercial satellites. Gain to Noise ratio calculation at S-Band frequency with 7.3meter diameter Antenna was also performed. This calculation is performed as a feasibility analysis for antennas receiving S-Band frequency signals.
