Rapid biocompatible macrocyclization of peptides with decafluoro-diphenylsulfone

In this manuscript, we describe modification of Cys-residues in peptides and proteins in aqueous solvents via aromatic nucleophilic substitution (S_NAr) with perfluoroarenes (fAr).
