Diagnosis and Treatment of Invasive Pulmonary Aspergillosis

Pulmonary aspergillosis is a spectrum of lung diseases caused by fungus aspergillus.The occurrence of this disease and its clinical,imaging and histological manifestations depend on the patient′s immune status and whether or not there is chronic underlying lung disease.Four distinct forms of pulmonary aspergillosis are recognized:(1)allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis;(2)aspergilloma;(3)chronic necrotizing aspergillosis;(4)acute invasive aspergillosis.The diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary aspergillosis will be reviewed in this article.
