Two bismaleimide fiber composites filled with graphite and copper were prepared by laminate molding process. The effect of graphite and copper content on the tribological properties of composites were investiged. The morphology of the composite worn surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The result showed that graphite has better effect on decreasing the friction and wear of bismaleimide composites than copper. The tribological properties and mechanical properties achieved the optimum balance when the graphite content was 3%.
