A study on lignin degradation for the use of corn stalk

In order to make use of corn stalk,chemical method was used to treat corn stalk.Lignin content changement of corn stalk was measured.The rate of degradation of corn stalk lignin(RDCSL) was highest in treatment of alkalization oxidizing agent,the highest of RDCSL was up to 74%. The RDCSL with corn stalk treated by ammonia was 20.3%, by carbamide 13.4%. When various means were used, RDCSL was effected by factors such as water content,temperature, time,ect.So it must be considered comprehensively.
