Study on Cobalt and other Valuable Metals Recovery from Cobalt Sludge

The hydrometallurgy technics of Zinc system in the Northwestern Lead and Zinc Smelter uses the purification of reverse adding Antimony salt to get rid of the impurity in the Zinc Sulfate solution.The paper studies the technics of how to receive Cobalt and other valuable metals from the slag of the two-segment purification.The Cobalt slag is selective leaching with diluents Sulfuric Acid,then we can get Cobalt,Cadmium,Nickel,Zinc from the solution and recover the Copper and Lead from the leached residue.The each recovery of Copper,Lead,Cobalt,Cadmium,and Zinc could reach to 100%、100%、90.33%、96.80%和95.51% in all.
