The Situation and Strategy of Cellulosic Ethanol Development

Cellulosic ethanol is a clean,resourceful and reproducible energy.Application of cellulosic ethanel will be one of the important ways to meet the challenges of energy safety,ecological protection and issues concerning agriculture,countryside and farmers in China.The current application of the bio-ethanol researches at home and abroad are summarized;the methods of increasing the yield of cellulosic ethanol by increasing the biomass and improving the quality of energy plants are put forward;the problems in the fermentation process of cellulosic ethanol are also pointed out.
