Large free-form surface measurement system based on laser line-scan sensor

The measurement of large free-form surface is of great importance for reverse engineering and product quality inspection.Based on laser line-scan sensor and arm of industry robot which can move in large range,a non-contact high efficiency measurement method is proposed.The principle and structure of measurement system is introduced,and data processing technique of free-form surface,especially the point cloud registration is studied.The experimental results show that this measurement system can realize a high precise measurement,and can achieve a satisfied effect for the measurement of large free-form surface.
