摘要
Skeletal muscle stiffness is altered after spinal cord nonjury (SCI). Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) is a non-invasive tool that can be used to assess tissue stiffness. Objectives: 1) to utilize MRE to assess the changes in muscular stiffness after SCI and its association with spasticity, compared to matched able-bodied controls; 2) i to nvestigate the changes in the stiffness following 12 weeks of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES)-resistance training (RT) in persons with SCI.
