摘要
In this review, the new 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-thiadiazole compounds have been discussed. 1,3,4-thiadiazole is found in commercial medications and has been the subject of several studies with pertinent findings; its therapeutic potential is real. This review highlights the primary methods for creating this heterocycle using acylhydrazines, carboxylic acid, acid hydrazides, diacylhydrazines, 1,3,4-oxadiazole, bithioureas, thiosemicarbazides, thiocarbazides, and dithiocarbazates. This review also highlights the marketed formulations that have been derived from the 1,3,4-thiadiazole nucleus..
