摘要
Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN) are fragments of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) obtained from fish sperm. They have the ability to stimulate angiogenesis, i.e., the formation of new blood vessels. The article aimed to present the current state of knowledge of the potential use of PDRN in regenerative and aesthetic medicine. Their mechanisms of action were discussed, including their ability to stimulate angiogenesis, collagen synthesis, and anti-inflammatory effects. The results of the latest scientific research indicate the effectiveness of PDRN in anti-aging treatments, scars, stretch marks, and hair loss. However, this requires further long-term clinical analyses to fully determine the safety and effectiveness of the therapies used.
