摘要

Next-generation energy storage systems are increasingly reliant on the development of advanced electrolytes that offer high ionic conductivity and enhanced safety features. Among these innovations, nano hybrid electrolytes have gained significant attention due to their ability to combine various functional materials to improve performance. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of the recent developments in nano hybrid electrolytes, focusing on their composition, properties, and performance for energy storage applications. The review will cover various types of nano hybrid electrolytes, including gel-based systems, specifically polymer-based and ionic gel-based electrolytes, as well as inorganic systems focusing on oxide and sulfide compositions. Notably, deep eutectic solvent-based eutectogels will also be discussed, highlighting their unique properties and advantages in enhancing ionic conductivity and thermal stability while addressing safety concerns associated with traditional liquid electrolytes. Additionally, the performance metrics of these novel electrolytes will be evaluated in comparison to conventional systems regarding energy density, cycle life, and safety features. Furthermore, the review will address the challenges faced in developing these materials and propose future research directions aimed at overcoming existing limitations. Ultimately, this work aims to contribute in understanding nano hybrid electrolytes’ role in advancing energy storage technologies, paving the way for safer and more efficient energy storage solutions for a sustainable future.
