In article number 2007423, Haitao Huang and co-workers introduce an emerging group of heterogeneous catalysts, the double-atom catalysts, and their applications in energy-related reactions. The synergistic effect originating from the engineered double-atom structure can promote catalytic activity, while the high atomic utilization efficiency and selectivity can be maintained by the atomically dispersed nature.
