Nanomaterials have consistently shown to have exceptional potential for medical applications and have expanded its significance over the near decade. This is due to the increasing demand for high-quality medical care, facilitated by the improvement of nanotechnology. The nanocomposites include a range of structures, including one-dimensional, two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and amorphous structures that are combined at the nanoscale level. The methods used to prepare nanocomposites mainly on the mechanical or chemical routes will differ based on the type of substrate used. Nanocomposites are categorized according to substrate materials as carbon-based Nanocomposites, Metal Nanocomposites, Polymer Nanocomposites. This section illustrates the significance of nanoparticles as detection devices, antimicrobial and anticarcinogenic agents, and also as curative agents in medicinal diagnosis.
