Objective To study the expression and cell viability changes of GDNF in lung adenocarcinoma cell lines A549.Methods Lung adenocarcinoma cell lines A549 were cultured and morphological changes were observed.Cells were counted and cell viability were detected by MTT method after culturing for 1d and 5 d.timultaneously,GDNF positive cells were detected by immunohistochemistry and statistically analyzed.Results The cell number of lung adenocarcinoma cell lines A549 was significantly increased in 5 d group,compared with1d group(P0.05),but the cell viability in 5 d group was significantly lower than 1d group(P0.05). The positive percentage of GDNF expression in 5 d group was significantly lower than 1 d group(P0.05). Conclusions In the process of cell lines A549 proliferation,cell viability and GDNF expression decrease gradually,suggesting that cell proliferation is not identical with cell viability,the reduction of GDNF may correlate to the decrease of cell vitality.
