Skill of 3D data exchange

With the more and more popular application of CAD technology, the need of data exchange is also increasing, and the way of exchanging data by CAD model is widely used. By focusing on the problems occurred in data exchange among various CAD systems, this paper contrasts several formats (IGES and STEP etc.), which are often used now. The paper uses Unigraphics NX 3.0 in illustration of the problem how to avoid and repair the surface breakage of model, and puts forward two solutions to the problem CAD data can't exchange between some CAD systems.
