Treatment of Refractory Constipation by Proserine

Objective Investigating the clinical treatment of refractory constipation which is happened to prostrate patient or patient lying in bed longtime. Methods Collecting clinical refractory constipation cases which is nullity in usual ways, applying proserine.Observe effect and side-effects of proserine. Results 29 of 32 patients with refractory constipation is effective respond to proserine, and side-effects of proserine is little. Conclusion Use of proserine is effective for refractory constipation, and have advantage of effective quickly and little side-effects, so this management is worth spreading.
