Influence of Scorpion Venom on the blood Coagulation Function of Rabbits

Objective: Research the influence of Scorpion Venom on the blood coagulation function of rabbits and discuss the mechanism of Scorpion Venom restraining the blood coagulation function.Methods: All of 10 rabbits were abstracted 1.8ml blood 1 hour before rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom,1 hour and 2 hours after rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom.PT,APTT,FIB in blood of rabbits were examined.We compared the results of PT,APTT,FIB of 1 hour and 2 hours after rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom with the results of 1 hour before rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom.Results: The results of PT,APTT,FIB of 1 hour after rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom prolonged evidently.There was difference between the results of 1 hour after rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom and the results of 1 hour before rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom.There was no difference between the results of 2 hours after rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom and the results of 1 hour before rabbits recepting Scorpion Venom.Conclusion: The mechanism of Scorpion Venom restraining the blood coagulation probably function are that Scorpion Venom reduce blood viscosity and affects the function of blood coagulation factors.
