E.coli and S.aureus are treated with the low-temperature plasma induced by the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) and dielectric barrier corona discharge (DBCD) respectively, it is found that the killing logarithms of the low-temperature plasma induced by DBD and DBCD on the two strains reached 5 within 90 s of exposure. DBCD decreases the number of the two strains faster than DBD. Both DBD and DBCD decreases the number of E.coli faster than those of S.aureus.
